A New Mexico native and resident for most of his life, Samuel loves to see the world through the eye of a camera and has a natural talent for promotion and marketing. Starting out on a track to be a journalist, writing for the local ABQ newspaper, The Albuquerque Tribune, Samuel soon turned his attention toward multimedia production. Attending film school in Ventura, California, Samuel focused on the cores of media: pre-production, production, and post production, leading to a well rounded body of work and experience in the industry.
As an aspiring filmmaker, Samuel one day dreams of making a feature film of his own and is constantly engrossed in the creative process. When he is not building graphics and special effects, he can normally be found working on his own films and video projects. He is an award-winning editor having taken home the Best Editing Award in 2010 at the Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood for the short film “Between Heaven and Hell.”
Samuel’s eye for marketing has landed him with the Venturi Team after stops working on promotions for O’Niell’s Pub in Albuquerque as well as for the local non-profit organization Albuquerque Film & Music Experience. He spent his time during the pandemic volunteering his services to the community by helping to run local, Covid-safe drive-in movies to provide some much needed entertainment for the city of Albuquerque. His ability to find the perfect tone and presentation for marketing products is a welcome addition to our team.
