Spring 2022: Albuquerque Homes are Selling Quickly

(Transcript Snippet): “Tracy:

You know, you were talking about, we have this very, very slight uptake of homes on the market compared to last week when we were on the show, right. Or two weeks ago. And you know, what we’re seeing though, Tego is things are selling as quick as they’re coming on the market. So it’s hard to get that number moving up, right. Because it is, we have so many buyers waiting that it’s going to take time before we see the numbers on the market going up, because they’re going off just as fast.

Tego:

So interesting. So just to give, yeah. To, to make your point, this is a perfect illustration. So I just pulled up the, the one week number of homes that came on the market versus a number of homes that went under contract or went pending. So 341 came on the market 331 went off the market. So we increased by 10, right?

Tracy:

Yeah. Well, see, wow. I, I hadn’t looked at the stats, but I just know

Tego:

I’ve got a stat to back up everything you believe that’s true. Yeah.

Tracy:

Yeah. One way or

Tego:

Another, it’s not true then I can’t back you out. I’m

Tracy:

Sure you can still find a stat. You know, that’s

Tego:

True.

Tracy:

There’s a headline for

Tego:

Everything. What do they stay? Every, every stat on Twitter is a is you gotta take with the grain of salt pretty much so. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. But the thing I find with stats in, in anything, but in housing, it’s, you know, somebody will take one snippet, like, you know, home sales are context. Yeah. Well, on home sales are declining. That means the market’s gonna tank. It’s like, well, wait, what about all the other stuff that you need to look at as well?

Tracy:

Our listeners Tigo on Eddie’s station here. They all know that

Tego:

They’re pretty smart. They’re

Tracy:

Pretty smart. They

Tego:

All got back on Twitter this week too. I bet a lot of ’em that have been off it, but I have, I never, I never left Twitter

Tracy:

Everybody, but Eddie probably.

Tego:

I love Twitter. I love Twitter.
