March 2019: We as many people talked about selling and buying a new home. We needed to do this due to “empty nest” syndrome and also elderly parents. One evening I clicked on a home I liked, and next thing I know we are going to view this home. Chase Countryman was the Realtor that showed this property and was more than prepared with information on the home and neighborhood. As it turns out, my husband and I were not emotionally or mentally ready to go through the process of buying a new home and selling our current home.
Chase was very understanding of our needs and did not pressure us to keep looking, but instead offered his services when we were ready.
A year later, we were ready to make this big commitment and we immediately contacted Chase at the Venturi Realty Group. We took the time to become “pre-qualified” to purchase and then began our search. Chase listened to what we were looking for and what our budget was then provided listings of homes based on those items. We must have looked at nine homes on a Saturday afternoon, and he did not flinch a bit when I asked to look at this one house like 4 times!
We found our home that day(4’s the charm), and he helped us to understand the process (offer, counter offer, appraisals, repairs, contract fees, etc.) in order to make the appropriate offer. We have just moved into the home we wanted and our family is very excited.
We thank Chase Countryman, the entire Venturi team and Tina Krupar and the Bay Equity team for helping us navigate this sometimes crushing home buying experience and have also trusted their team to help us sell the home we just moved out of!
