Shana is one of the top Realtors in Albuquerque and we are thrilled to have her as part of the Venturi Team. She is originally from Tennessee and moved to New Mexico in 2003. When she’s not serving her clients, Shana enjoys spending time with her husband Tyler and their 3 wonderful children, traveling to new places, gardening, reading, hiking and exploring the land of enchantment.

We used the exchange accommodator that Shana recommended, and they were fantastic. Shana also provided a list of home inspectors they work with regularly, and again the person we hired was great. Her assistant Trish was also very pleasant to work with. Shana made the whole process seem to run smoothly, despite the stress of a back to back exchange (we found our replacement property quickly). By the luck of the draw, we were connected with Shana when we submitted a request online to schedule a viewing of a house we found while researching homes in the area.
Not sure how we got so lucky but Shana was nothing less than fantastic! She spoke with us and kept in touch before we traveled down and while we were in town she took time out of her Memorial Day weekend to arrange showings for over a dozen homes.
Very quickly she got to know our tastes and preferences and was able to provide extremely valuable insight on the area and NM in general. The net result was we found our dream home on day 2, had an offer in on day 4, and an accepted offer by day 5!
After that, Shana and her team stayed very involved. Since we were back in WI, they arranged for and participated on all the inspections and walk-throughs. They connected us with all the local utilities so we could get set up. And, they took care of everything else, which alleviated so much stress off us. Especially since we were working on packing up our home in WI!
All in all, I'm not sure how we would've done it without her. I'm not sure what I expected when we started our search for a home out of state but Shana was everything we could have hoped for in a real estate agent and I'm extremely grateful we connected with her. We highly recommend her! read less

I began looking for a retirement place in Albuquerque some time ago, and had contacted Shana because she was the listing agent on one of the properties that I liked. We discussed what I was looking for, and when it was time to go visit Shana set up appointments at four places, all of which were very nice.
The second place we visited stopped us in our tracks. We went from being shoppers to buyers in a matter of seconds. Not being from Albuquerque, Shana set us up with a mortgage agent, and in a matter of weeks we became New Mexico’s newest residents.

She was knowledgeable and honest with me through the whole process, advising me on whether she thought a home was overpriced or if I would need to offer over the asking price. She was really responsive, too. This is how I ended up with the home I bought: after 5 months of searching, I saw one in her daily email that seemed perfect- it was listed that very day! I text Shana at 2 pm and she set an appointment for that afternoon at 6. She told me there was already an offer in. We viewed the house and it was as perfect as it seemed online. She advised me on what I could do to have the best shot at getting the home. I put in my offer and two days later, she called me with the news that my offer was accepted! When the appraisal came in over my offer, she was able to negotiate a fair price that we all agreed on. I just moved in and I am beyond happy! read less

She has an easy going personality, is patient and a pleasure to be around. She showed us many homes and went out of her way to accommodate our schedule. During the first week of searching, I didn't have a car and she picked me up from the hotel.
We had a difficult escrow due to the seller being out of country during the process, answers and assurances were hard to obtain from the seller. Shana negotiated with the seller's agent and put a package together that we felt comfortable with, not an easy task. We have been in our home for a month now and pending issues have been resolved, just like Shana assured us, and we are loving our neighborhood and new home. We won't need a real estate agent again for a long time, but we found a friend in Shana and look forward to a long relationship.

She's also just a pleasure to work with and very professional and friendly, with a good sense of humor and an unflappable attitude (which helped us when when we were stressed out). We were a little intimidated by the whole house buying process, but she helped us feel comfortable and confident.
