Know the Facts: Albuquerque Housing Market Expert or Click Bait

Eddie:
Housing market expert, which we know Tego and Tracy are, uh, or click bait. I wanna address that from, uh, these ridiculous things, see sizzle, this stupid slogan. And I literally wanna just rip the paper up. Like, are you leaving money on the table? Uh, exactly. No, one’s leaving money on the table, bro. How about that? Because of the way the market is. Yeah. Right, right. I can’t even believe that type of thing, so. Well, how do you, how do you quantify that first off, but anyway, that’s my statistical uh, thing coming out. No, there, there there’s been a lot of national housing stories, even in, even in, um, um, what’s what’s the day, the morning brew, right? So, you know, a lot of people are familiar with the morning brew. It’s just a little newsletter that comes out every day. You know, they talked about housing yesterday, right? That was the headline story was, was housing. So there was a lot of housing stories, a lot of stuff talking about the market slowing down, foreclosures are up, is the crash coming? You know, I did a search, I did YouTube housing crash. One week, there were over 500 videos that had been posted to YouTube in one week about a housing crash. It’s like, you know, it it’s,
Tego:
I don’t know, you know, this world better than I do, but this whole idea of, of on people’s fears about the economy and the market, it’s, it’s sick, it’s just sick. And, and unfortunately it sells and, and I see it in the housing world all the time where they’ll, they’ll, you’ll read a headline and then you read the story and you go, well, those don’t match. Those are two different things, but nobody reads the story. They just read the headline. Well, everyone’s looking for attention. Uh, everybody needs something to post on their social media. Uh, I don’t attention and don’t social to just, but in, uh, because in order, uh, for people to sell nowadays, since they have no value, you have to discount other people’s value and the person still needs whatever. They’re looking for a widget in that realm. Right? Yeah. So you don’t wanna become the anti sell.
Eddie:
Uh, you don’t wanna say stop. Are you leaving? Are you leaving money off the table? You wanna sell consistency? You wanna sell quality, you wanna sell excellence, you wanna sell stats and facts. You lay it out. So in my realm, right, we talk about, uh, uh, radio. And we talk about, um, you know, what are the qualities of your talkers? You know, our, our talk show host, what is the quality who is delivering? Who’s showing up for work, who’s writing. And are they selling you something expanding your brain? Or are they selling you fear? So a case in point, I have one of my early morning talkers. He comes on and he interviews these people and it’s like, don’t send your kids to public school and you have these mothers outing their children. And they’re trying to teach my kids this and this and this.
Eddie:
And I’m like, whoa, we’re, they’re taking us over. And if we don’t do this, we’re gonna die. You know, my kids are gonna be, you know, they’re gonna have three appendages and six years and you know, like, whoa. Yeah. Okay. So I guess there’s nothing you can do is what you’re telling me. Okay. Yeah. You don’t have school choice is what you’re telling me. Okay. Well, you’re so incredibly, uh, generous thinking about everybody else that you’re on here exposing your entire life and your entire family and your kids, uh, school experience in his own community because you’re so you you’re, you’re looking out for everybody you’re fighting on for everybody else out there. And it’s like, no, no, no, you’re not. What you’re doing is you’re just, you hate the other side so much as you’re, you’re, you’re, you’re not thinking logically you removed all that.
Eddie:
And you’re just selling the sizzle, which is the, we’re the anti them both for us buy from us, uh, listen to us because we’re not them. That’s not the way that you win in this world. Right. And we have gotten into this zero sum mentality, unfortunately. And it’s because people have literally, uh, removed any sort of level of, of thought and accountability on it. They’ve lost their deductive reasoning and they’ve lost common sense. And I think COVID, uh, I think the shutdowns, I think these elections, I think all that has led us to this, uh, particular point where we’ve become irrational, irrational, we’re making emotive purchases, we’re making emotive decisions, uh, because we don’t know any different and we don’t trust the information that’s in front of us. So one of the reasons why you want to go with ego and Tracy, and this is why is it’s never an emotional decision.
Eddie:
Here’s the facts. Here’s the information. These are the transactions that we’ve done. Yes. We’ve sold houses in this neighborhood. No, we haven’t sold in this neighborhood. Here’s what we can do. We can troubleshoot. Oh wow. What a great word. We can troubleshoot your situation. Uh, we can merchandise. Oh, what a great word. Yeah. We can merchandise your property and then we can transact. Oh yeah. Cause that’s what we do. We actually transact business. So, Hey, we’re your choice. So that’s why you wanna phone and call my friends and all the people that work with them. And you’re interested in real estate. And I’m sure this is a great time to jump in folks. I’m telling you if you’re to, this is where the real people are made in real estate. You get in one of those times when other people are of like, I’m what I’m, you’s (505) 448 8888. And uh, you start, uh, learning from the very best there its Williams Realty vent Realty group. Yep. And just cause you’re with, uh, by way they’re they are with Keller Williams, but yep. Just cause you call a Keller Williams agent doesn’t mean that they’re with Tego and Tracy. True, true.
Tego:
There’s there’s about, well, you know, there’s, there’s over 4,000 real estate agents in, uh, realtors that are, uh, have the real brand in the Albuquerque area now. And that’s actually been growing, but that’s a whole nother conversation. We can talk about some other.
